The reality today
Running a athletics club in 2026 shouldn't feel like this.
Athletics Ireland renewals
Every January: 300 members renewing, hundreds of competition cards, age-group recalcs — and one volunteer registrar.
Juvenile coaching squads
U9 to U18, sprints, distance, throws, jumps — each with its own coach, its own group, its own attendance sheet.
Race entries
Open road races, juvenile track meets, the annual club 5k — entries, t-shirt sizes, chip allocations, refunds.
Coaching qualifications + first aid
Athletics Ireland coach levels, first aid expiries, Garda Vetting — all live in separate places.
